Terms of Use

Bar Fight™ is a free trivia app for adults to host and participate in team games. It is operated by Stainbrook Scents LLC ("we," "us," or "our") and was created by Christina Stainbrook.

Bar Fight™ is independently developed. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official product of Scentsy, Inc. Use by Scentsy consultants or teams does not establish an affiliation. Scentsy names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bar Fight™ as a host or player. By using Bar Fight™, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Hosts must make these Terms and the Privacy Policy available to participants before play and must not knowingly admit minors.

Hosts create accounts using a username and password or Google sign-in. Hosts are responsible for protecting their accounts and for activities they authorize through those accounts. Do not share credentials or access someone else's account without permission. Contact barfight@scentandsonder.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Players do not need accounts. Providing a name or gamertag is optional. Hosts are responsible for explaining how their games work and using player information appropriately. Do not submit someone else's identifying information without authorization.

Bar Fight™ includes app-provided trivia and permits hosts to create their own questions. Questions and answers may contain errors or become outdated. Trivia is provided for entertainment and is not professional advice, official company guidance, or a substitute for applicable business policies.

Game scores, leaderboards, and cumulative results are stored to support gameplay and ongoing tracking. Results may be affected by host settings, connection problems, errors, or changes to the app. Contact us about suspected errors; we do not guarantee that every disputed result can be reconstructed or corrected.

Hosts are responsible for the questions, instructions, and content they supply. They must have the necessary rights to use that material and must not submit confidential company information, unlawful content, harassment, or material that violates another person's rights.

Hosts retain any rights they hold in their original content. By submitting content, they grant Stainbrook Scents LLC a nonexclusive license to store, reproduce, format, and display it as needed to operate their games, support the app, and maintain related backups. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated commercial reuse of host content.

Bar Fight™ is a self-service tool. Except for app-provided trivia, the questions, images, GIFs, answers, names, and other material found in the app come from hosts and players. We do not review, screen, or directly monitor that content. It does not represent the views of Bar Fight™, Stainbrook Scents LLC, Christina Stainbrook, or Scentsy, Inc., and its appearance in the app is not an endorsement of it by any of them. No affiliation with any company is implied by content used in a game.

To the extent permitted by law, Stainbrook Scents LLC, Christina Stainbrook, and Scentsy, Inc. are not liable for user-submitted content or for any harm arising from it. If you believe content in a game is unlawful or infringing, contact barfight@scentandsonder.com.

You may use Bar Fight™ for lawful personal and team trivia activities, including business team activities, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Harass others, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful or infringing material.
• Bypass access controls, compromise accounts, interfere with the app, or manipulate scores through unauthorized means.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect another host's or player's information without authorization.
• Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to extract app content, question collections, or data without our written permission.
• Copy or redistribute our protected artwork, original question collections, code, or other protected content as a separate product, or use extracted material to build datasets or train models without permission.
• Reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be restricted or grant us ownership of general trivia facts, ideas, or game mechanics.

Bar Fight™ offers Google sign-in and uses GIPHY to provide GIF content. Third-party services and content are subject to their providers' applicable terms and privacy policies. Their availability and content may change. Displaying third-party content does not transfer ownership of it or imply endorsement.

Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, optional player information, and game records are handled. Hosts must safeguard the player information available through their accounts and may not disclose or misuse it without an appropriate basis.

Bar Fight™ is currently free to use. We may update features, correct errors, restrict misuse, suspend accounts that violate these Terms, or discontinue the app. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice of material changes affecting access. Data requests following suspension or closure may be sent to our contact email and will be handled subject to applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Bar Fight™ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. No online service can guarantee complete security or permanent preservation of every record.

To the extent permitted by law, Stainbrook Scents LLC and Christina Stainbrook are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of Bar Fight™. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

These Terms are governed by Indiana law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. We will update the effective date when these Terms change and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively and remain subject to any consent required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
